Experience started off good. Price was right and plumbers were friendly. I hired them to replace the gas pipes and fittings outside. The replacement part of the job was Ok. The problem lies when they spray painted the pipes. They got spray paint all over the siding of my house and it appears they used a harsh solvent to clean up and ruined the vinyl siding. They also painted over scale and rust chunks and the paint was just falling off. We called and they attempted to correct the issue, but the siding is ruined. Sloppy work with no regard for people's property.
Overall, good experience. Worked with me on installing a new unit. Out of 3 companies, they were the most professional, helpful, and trustworthy. Install went well and smoothly. With new unit, Had an issue early on. Came multiple times. Didn't wait long until escalating since routine techs fixes didn't work. Escalation fixed the issue. Very professional. My second unit stopped working. Came and fixed. Gave good advice on replace versus fix. Responsive, scheduling rapidly, clean, professional, respectful.

My water heater stopped heating and after I contacted Anderson, they had a technician (Ty S.) out the next day. He was on time, friendly and quickly diagnosed the problem. In addition to the problem he also performed some preventative maintenance that should prolong the life of the unit. Job was completed quickly, to my 100% satisfaction.
When i woke up to a dead and leaking hot water tank Friday morning i thought i was in for an extensive weekend of finding a new hot water system. Anderson had prompt effective service. The technician who came out (Ty S.) did a fantastic job. They came out the same day, helped to find the solution i was looking for (replace our tank with a tankless) and had it installed by the end of the day. My furnace broke down overnight and I awoke to a cold house. I called at 7 AM and Brian arrived a little after 10. He did a thorough check of my furnace and diagnosed the problem immediately. It ended up being the draft inducer motor and he ordered it and had it installed by 130 pm that same day. He was very knowledgable and provided me with all the options. I was in such a panic Wednesday. My hot water tank went out and began to flood my basement. I called Anderson and the receptionist was so sympathetic and excellent because I shared that my tank was leaking and I was due at a conference that was an hour and a half away but began in three hours. She had someone out within thirty minutes. Ryan and Jason arrived and they were outstanding! I was extremely overwhelmed to the point of shock. They had to assess and resolve the situation very quickly. Ryan and Jason were professional, courteous, thorough, humble and exceptional in customer service, even corresponding with my warranty company. I’m not exaggerating, they might as well have been wearing capes with the way they swooped in and took control to help me. I desperately needed help. I made the right call. This company is the BEST around. Their technicians are so knowledgeable with a super fast response time - even on the weekend. Marcus came to my house for two plumbing problems. A water shut off valve in my kitchen for my new refrigerator and a shut off valve at the main water meter in the basement. Our installer, Ethan, came out and was timely and professional and had it done in a few hours. We have been using Anderson Heating & Cooling for many years for our yearly inspections and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality product. Five Stars!
We were doing a repair to our toilet and uncovered a bigger issue that needed a professional. Anderson quickly responded that same day. Marcus provided several options for the repair. We could then select what fit our agenda and budget to correct the issue. Marcus quickly got the needed materials and completed the installation. We highly recommend Anderson and would use them again.We also had Anderson provide us a quote to replace our 36 year old air condition. Gary came and evaluated the air condition as well as the furnace. He provided us options on replacement of one or both. We were again able to select what fit our needs and budget. Within a few days of making our selection Matt and his crew were here for installation. Within a day both an air conditioner and furnace were installed. We have only one minor issue. We pointed out a possible interference may occur and the installation went forward and the interference did occur and will eventually need to be corrected. This was a fairly minor issue and we still highly recommend Anderson and would use them again.

Anderson installed a new furnace, A/C unit and hot water tank when we bought this 28 year old condo. We have health with this company for over twenty years and appreciate the quality of their service and reliable service people. I am lowering my rating because there were many issues with yesterday's service visit. I took time away from work for my annual furnace service. Window was 8-10--at 10 I called to see what was going on--told they were running behind but be there soon and dispatcher would call when on the way. Sure, no problem, jobs run over. COMMUNICATE with the customer. Almost an hour later call from dispatch telling me they were on their way and would be there in 20-25 minutes. Nearly an hour later they arrive just before noon. Then after the service visit nothing was received regarding the service (checklist, etc). I have always had great service previously but lack of communication regarding late arrival, lack of details on inspection/service, etc has me questioning what's going on with a company I have relied on for 15 years. I hope it is one bad day because they didn't live up to their standards--time will tell.
Mike and Garret were great. Very knowledgeable and informative. Mike diagnosed the problem immediately upon hearing the noise the furnace was making. Garret was very quick and efficient installing a new thermostat and doing a clean and check on the whole unit. I'm very satisfied with their service.
Gas furnace issue response by Matt H. was prompt, the problem identified in a short time but as it sometimes happens -replacement part had to be ordered, a few days later all was good. No hesitation calling Anderson as necessary.
If I could give zero stars I would. Anderson’s did not call ahead to let me know they were on the way. Did not honor their free inspection, they charged a $100 travel fee for a local customer. The Anderson technician also entered my house with only minors in it. This professional place acted very unprofessional and I am disappointed.

Said found everything ok. Explained I have had this problem in past and is the selector switch which you don’t even stock. That’s switch has always been the problem it’s the only moving part in the electric furnace beside blower motor

Our oven died and we had to get a new one. However we realized we needed a new set up with our pipe and gas hook up to even be able to plug the new one in. Mike M. did such a wonderful job servicing my furnace. It is in a crawl space and not the easiest job, but he was finished in no time at all. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Made two appointments 3 weeks in advance. Gave him my name my phone number and my address is for my two houses. One appointment was for the house I am in now and one for the house that I'm moving into. The first appointment was for the house I'm in now and they called and said they had to reschedule because there were too many emergency calls. But the technician showed up that night anyway he then called and he said I'm at the wrong place and proceeded to leave. He then showed up the next morning for the rescheduled appointment. My second appointment was for that same day but in the afternoon after they didn't show I called and they said I canceled the appointment I said no I didn't and then they called me by a name that I did not recognize it was the previous owners that's who they called and the previous owners said they did not make an appointment. In my opinion Anderson only wants to be the biggest and sell you a new furnace and their office scheduling and the continuity between the technicians and the office it's probably the worst I've seen anywhere. I will say that the technician was professional and I will leave it at that. I do not recommend Anderson under any circumstances
To start Gary was amazing to work with. Starting with the quoting process. He came in right before Thanksgiving and was very quick with the quote. Scheduling was easy. Ethan and his coworker came in and did an excellent job with my duct work as well. They knew what they were doing and were done in no time

Most incompetent people I’ve ever dealt with. I called in very nice lady I spoke with. Got scheduled then rescheduled and rescheduled total of 5 times. When they did finally show up they were here for 15Min and said oh you need a new furnace. No I don’t I called Reeves came out got it to work and no issues since. These people at Anderson suck there slow and stupid.

Mike came in , fixed the problem, then offered me a maintenance plan. I accepted he was on his way.
I can't express how upset I was with this contractor, first of all he had a two hour window from 1 to 3 o'clock.He showed up at 3:35 & said that the work if agreed upon would have to be done the following day. After inspecting the job he gave me the most outrageous quote In the history of the world. He said for his company to install the straight gas line, which was 13 ft. With two 4 ft. Conectors, it would cost $2995.00.I received a quote from another company the next day for $600.00.
Marcus did a great job troubleshooting a ceiling fan that is dripping water from it.However this is the 3rd visit in a month from various technicians and managers and the problem is not solved. Marcus left on Friday and told me he would get with his team and come up with next steps the following MondayIt’s been 2 weeks and no call backs even after repeated calls with promises someone will call back.I would expect better service after having New Image install all my HVAC for our new house.In the mean time water on the floor after every shower and GFI tripping.

Gave me an estimate up front for repair work but recommended we get estimate for boiler replacement first so that we could make an educated decision. Even called for appointment to get that estimate for me. Highly recommended.

Ty and AJ installed my new hot water heater. Since I have insurance but no smart phone, I needed photos of the old heater along with the name plate with the model and serial numbers in order to get reimbursed from State Farm. They took photos and explained in the work order that the old unit (23 years old) could not be repaired and had to be replaced. As a result, State Farm sent me a check for the amount I paid Anderson (minus my $500.00 deductible) and I'm very happy with my new hot water heater!

I scheduled my annual furnace maintenance for Dec. 5th and the technician whose name I can't remember arrived during the time slot given. The furnace had been running louder than normal and he was able to fix that by replacing the gas valve which had been damaged due to increased pressure in the gas line from Dominion. The cost was more than I had planned on, but the furnace is now running much more smoothly. They are the only ones I call with any HVAC issues.

My furnace died just before the first snow of the year, Anderson came out and tried some fixes before there was no hope. They were detailed and communicated clearly and in great detail about what they found and what they were planning to do. They got a new furnace for a great price installed next day and it's been great since! Will definitely call them again!

I called at 9:06 AM due my hot water tank not working. Ryan and his teamate arrived 15 minites earlier than the time I was given. Which was 11 - 1. Great work on the furnace. I’m concerned about the AC connection. I was insured the old 25+ year, disintegrated hose (outside) that’s hooks up my AC would be replaced. The old hose was not replaced. It needs to be replaced as promised in our agreement. I look forward to hearing from Anderson.

The technicians are knowledgeable, neat, and professional. The office team are responsive and courteous.I had a new boiler installed by Anderson close to two years and it was completed in timely manner and everything looked great. Since the install the water bypass valve failed because it was defective but their team handled the situation within 24 hours.
We always have a wonderful experience with your service teams. Our house is 'beyond' challenging and yet, you would never know it by their expertise and professionalism.
I did not have heat and they were very Accommodating. The technician was very polite unfortunately the furnace stop working again about an hour later so I called again to make another appointment, they were able to have him come back. When he came back he was very nice and apologetic. He spent a lot of time and now we have heat. Thank you for doing a thorough job!

My furnace would not ignite, so I called Anderson at 4:30PM. They had a technician out the next day at 10:00AM and had the problem fixed by 12:00PM with the part being under warranty. Ben was so helpful and very professional!

Installers replaced water heater. People extremely nice. Installation of unit looks great. I was extremely dissatisfied with furniture they moved and did not move back. Pissed about brick placement unders tank. Floor has gray epoxy and thy did not replace bricks back in original position. Around the area they scratch the epoxy floor. Water wa left for me to clean. I have Anderson for heat and ac service and will have to re-evaluate my position now moving forward.

I would give a ZERO rating but then I could not leave a detailed complaint. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVER! Very disappointed… since Ozinga left the company has declined quickly. Very unprofessional and rude to no call/no show for a scheduled appt 2 weeks in a row. I have missed work waiting for them…they no call/no show.. and the excuse given is there was an emergency.. I work in the medical field… emergencies are for first responders… hospital/fire dept/ambulance. Last time I checked.. your company represents none of that. If I did have a so called HVAC “ER” I would not call Anderson. Take accountability for your actions!

I got prompt and professional service from Ryan. We needed a part and was suppose to get a call in a couple days with the quote and appt. Unfortunately, we never heard from Anderson and when I called the following week and left a message, they never returned my call. We have a contract with Ozinga/Anderson and are supposed to be priority customers. I guess I don’t understand what priority means. I left another message last Saturday and was never called back.

I had 3 quotes and they were the first and the best. The salesman ( Garry) was fantastic and very helpful. He helped us design a complete new system and got us a great deal on it. The installation went perfect and actually a day early. The installation team answered all of my questions and seemed to be happy to do so. They showed a lot of pride in their work.The system we got was a 16 seer heat pump and electric heating, air purifier, and humidifier. We replaced a old LP gas heater and no AC. My wife and I couldn't be happier with everything, we even noticed a big difference that the air purifier has done to the house. Having the central AC is great compared to the window units that we were using for years. I'm not a big fan of winter but I am looking forward to it this year.Update:Had them out today for a repair and they were fantastic.

I asked for a quote to remove a failed 80 gallon water tank at our 10 unit Condominium Building and replace with a Navien tankless. I called early Thursday 9/22/23 met with a rep who promised to quote that day. It was replaced 9/23 by Bill Renolds Heating and Cooling. Very Happy!!!!

Changing my rating. Service is excellent, as always. But I have to comment about the price. First of all, it will cost you $99 for someone to come to your house. But that does not come off of the total cost of the job. I had a gas valve replaced on my furnace. The total cost was $985 installed. I just looked up the valve online. I could have purchased the valve for $200. Even giving them 100% mark-up, that would mean I paid at least $585 for labor to install the valve in less than an hour. That is way out of line, in my opinion. I will be looking for a new HVAC company in the future.
We recently had three projects completed by Anderson involving the installation of an expansion tank to our hot water heater, installation of a new main valve for our water service line and a new kitchen faucet. All projects were completed quickly and professionally. Anderson is a great partner for all plumbing and HVAC services!

While I had no problem with the technicians who performed my furnace tuneup, and toilet install, you can never get through on the phone to customer service. In fact, no one answers the phones. I was on hold for over 15 minutes. Tried 3 more times and gave up. Again, both Robin and Chuck did an excellent job, but because it is so hard to get through on the phone, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Tighten the thermostat so that it stayed in place on the wall besides checking out the A/C unit.

I received immediate response for my request to look at my non-working hot water heater. An appointment was scheduled for the next day. Ryan arrived precisely on time, was not able to restart the pilot, determined the age of my hot water heater, determined that it would cost $200 more to replace than to repair a very old unit. When I decided to replace, he got the unit and installed the new one, replumbing in a better manner, providing some protection against minor basement flooding, explaining the unit, writing the install date on it, and taking the old unit. He was extremely helpful, efficient, and professional. I highly recommend Anderson.

I had a new a/c unit installed by this company. The two technicians Mike B. And Joni G were timely and professional. Went right to work. They answered all our questions and even took the extra time to show me how to work the thermostat. Took the time also to inform us of all changes that were completed with the installation of the new a/c unit. We will continue using Anderson's as priority one.

I’m blown away at the speed of which they were able to get to us and help us with our plumbing emergency. Chuck is an excellent plumber and fabricator. He removed a pedestal sink from our half bath and then installed our new vanity with countertop oval sink and spigot. He had to do some extra work to do this install and he went the extra mile and did what needed to be done to complete the installation. He did an excellent job and the new vanity/sink/spigot look tremendous. I'm very happy with his work and perseverance to get our job done. Kudos, and I have and will use his services again. Thank you very much!
Mike B and Joni G did a great job installing new AC unit. They were prompt and professional. I would deduct half a star because when they left there was dirt tracked in 4 spots on my carpet. However, I was about to shampoo so I wasn't too upset, but perhaps you can ask them to use shoe covers if you need to protect your floors.
I cannot say enough positive things about Anderson, Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. From the moment I made an appointment to have a technician come to my house, they were in contact with me, letting me know who and when the technician would be coming out. They called and texted me the day the technician would be arriving and his name. I had an excellent experience with Andrew, my technician. He showed up on time, was friendly, honest, courteous and patient. I appreciated everything he was able to do for me and he gave me valuable suggestions on how to maintain my A/C system, hot water tank and furnace. I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone and Anderson.
Brian was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about my AC unit problems. He discussed the diagnosis to me before he did it. Jomo arrived in a very timely manner and immediately introduced himself and got right to the task at hand. He was very helpful, explaining to us what he was checking and what it meant. I first called them in 2013 when half of Lake County flooded. They were the only company that would even consider sending someone out. They were able to send a guy out same day and at least get our A/C up and running to dry the house up. They got the job on the replacement furnace that year. I've called them for all of my service & maintenance needs since. Every service tech and installer I've encountered has been friendly & knowledgeable. We just had the A/C replaced today with the same results.

Phil and Mark tag teamed my installation and finished in about 5 hours; removing and replacing my furnace and air conditioner. The work was done neatly and meticulously. They were both thorough and they paid attention to every detail. When they finished, they walked through every detail of the job with my wife and I. They also answered any questions we had. This was amazing emergency service. I am seriously blown away. I called at 9:30 and it’s not even 11:30 and it’s done. Courteous guys stopped by quickly fixed the kitchen sink clog and cleaned up all with politeness and happiness. Don’t hesitate to call and use this company A+++++!
I got my AC & heater replaced this week by Rob, Garrett, and Zak. They did a fantastic job! They were on-time and very detailed. The install looks great and working as expected. They also wired in my Google Nest Thermostat and did a thorough walk through of everything once they were done.
Excellent work from all that were involved in the process from start to finish ! I called on a Thursday afternoon and had an appointment scheduled for the next morning on a holiday. My comfort consultant Justin was great. He went over all the options and packages with me and put them into terms that I could understand. I got multiple quotes and my concerns were addressed by Justin and he was able to send a team out to run tests the day after speaking with about the concerns to help ease my mind and resolve the concerns. Mike K arrived to run the tests with his associate and were fast, professional and knowledgeable. I ended up using Anderson heating and cooling and was able to schedule the full hvac install the following week which fit our schedule perfectly. Tuesday morning rolled around and the team was here bright and early and right on time. Ethan and Mike Q arrived ready to work and tackle the job. They were finished in 5 hours and everything was completed to perfection. I am so happy we went with Anderson heating and cooling instead of the competitors. Thank you again to Justin for all the help and the installers for making it all happen. Great job !
Unfortunately I must revise my previous review. Everything I said in the below listed original review was true, however, things took a turn the next day. The day after our furnace install we received a text that stated "Anderson Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, and sister company A New Image Heating and Cooling are offering a FLASH BOGO! Valid this week! The Furnace is FREE when you install an AC! Call today for details.". I called immediately because we had expressed an interest in both heat and AC. I asked why we were not offered this BOGO when they knew we were interested in both and the sale was good for the week of our installation. We would have taken this deal and gotten both. I was told by the Mentor office that they were unaware that the sale text was going out and asked if I could give them a few days. The following Monday I did receive a call back and was told they would install our AC for $4,000. The original estimate was about $6,000. So they were offering to take $2,000 off to install the AC. My furnace was $5,695. Is this a deceptive advertising ploy to get another $4,000 out of us? I disagreed with this offer and was given a contact at their home office in Grand Rapids MI. I sent the info to Geoffery Kartes who is their Director of Digital Marketing in MI. That was two weeks ago and I have heard NOTHING from anyone. I even called Mr. Kartes and still did not get a call back. This is apparently a "pass the blame" situation where no one is willing to take responsibility. Associates in the Mentor office agreed with me, yet nothing has been done. Maybe if they ignore me I will go away. I will not. I wanted to let potential future customers know this happened. I am also letting the BBB and the Ohio AG know. Thank you for taking the time to read this.*Original Review**We had a furnace that was installed in the crawl space under our house over 20 years ago. The furnace went bad and we wanted to move it to our utility basement for easier access. We knew this would be a challenge. We contacted Anderson and first they sent out Bob and Mike to assess the issues with the old furnace. It was not worth fixing for us. We decided to go with the new furnace and add an AC coil to be installed in the basement for future central air. Anderson sent out estimators CJ and one other gentleman whose name I cannot remember, sorry. They were very thorough going over every possible scenario. The estimate was high but we expected that with the difficulty of removing the old furnace from the crawl space and reworking all the duct work into the utility basement. They estimated a 2 day job. The team showed up on time and proceeded to work it out. They only took one day. Everyone associated with Anderson was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. They explained everything to us during every phase from identification, estimates and completion. We do plan on using them again in the future to finish the central air. You will not go wrong using this company. Highly recommended.
I had a toilet that was partially blocked by a mystery object compliments of my 4 year old grandson. Ryan was prompt, messaged me when he was in his way, was professional and very pleasant. Heat was restored and works great. Very skilled at what they do. They didn’t leave any garbage behind, not even a speck of dirt. They were so nice to my dog!! I would recommend them to anyone!! Very easy to get ahold of, talk to, and make appointments with. Everyone we spoke to was very professional and nice.We first had Kenny come out to check what was wrong with our old furnace and he found the problem right away and offered to fix what was needed. He did a great job inspecting it and giving us the info we needed to that we asked for towards a new furnace and a/c unit.Then Gary came out the next day to measure and give us the rest of the info we need. He also did an amazing job with making sure all of our needs were met and making sure everything was taken care of and running smoothly when the other technicians Mike and his coworker were installing everything a couple days after the consultation.We were very well taken care of from start to finish and will definitely be using them from now on.I’m not sure how well the ac unit works yet but it looks great and I have high hopes because the new furnace we have that they installed is working AMAZING compared to our old furnace. It’s a huge and very noticeable difference.Will definitely be using Anderson from now on.Highly recommend!
Run from this company. They used to be a good company, but were purchased a few years ago. I've had a maintenance contract with them for 10 years and yet, when I had a need for an emergency service call, they would not call me back (I left a message with their answering service) and disconnected my call (10 times) when I called during business hours and hit #1 for urgent needs. I was able to get in contact with an HVAC guy who used to work for them and he fixed my 5 year old furnace in 10 minutes. He left the company because he said they were more interested in selling new installs than providing good service.
Anderson/ Feratto's has been with us for years and we appreciate their service and attention to detail. They take the time to explain their work, provide useful recommendations without being pushy. We look forward to being customers a long time due to their service. Our technician Mike was very friendly and knowledgeable. Anderson Service Technician Jomo did an excellent job in doing a routine service checkout on our energy efficient gas furnace. He was on time, friendly and professional. In general, Anderson Heating & Cooling has always been the best of the best for all the years they have provided installation and service for us.

He was very friendly, explained everything to me, explained that my furnace and air conditioner were past there life span. We talked about how much approximately a new furnace and air conditioning system would cost. I was very pleased with the service I received from Mike and I would highly recommend them. This company is super prompt, and sent the same person out for all my repairs, the 3 times I contacted them. Billy Parry was fantastic! Very gregarious, informative, took the time to show me the repairs he did and walked me through what was needed prior to repairing my ancient boiler heater. He was honest, fair, and a total charm to have in my home. I work from home, so his professionalism in regards to how quiet he was while servicing my heater was exceptional. This local company is amazing and I'll be using them for years to come for all my heating and water heater issues.
We have been with Anderson Heating for over 10 years and they are the best! We use their club plan to make sure our heating/cooling units are ready for the season and every service person who comes out is very knowledgeable and friendly. Our latest person was Jason and he was tops! If I could request him every time I would. He had to replace an item that was not in an easy place and he did not give up until the job was done. He didn't get flustered (as he was only out to do the tune up but it turned out to be more!). Thank you Anderson for having such wonderful people in your organization. Last but no least, I need to send a shout out to the wonderful ladies that answer the phone and make appts. They are top notch and super friendly!
We had a mini split a/c system installed in our home. Ethan, Greg, Mark, and Blake worked non stop for a day and a half to complete the job. They all did an outstanding job. They were very professional and detail oriented, and we were very happy with the results. Gary, our sales rep, even stopped by during the job to check it out, as well.
